The Winter in Mayrhofen

From Mayrhofen you can take the Penkenbahn or Ahornbahn to get to two top ski areas.

But the areas around Mayrhofen also have a lot to offer. With one lift ticket you can use all the lifts in the Zillertal - including the Hintertux Glacier, where you can ski almost all year round. Freeride parks have been specially built for snowboarders.

Golf

The 18-hole championship course in Uderns, only 19 km from Mayrhofen, is rightly considered to be challenging and absolutely worth playing. It goes without saying that it belongs to the “Leading Courses of Austria”. Four par-5, nine par-4 and five par-3 holes can be played in the face of a magnificent alpine panorama. The championship course extends over 65 hectares and offers a spacious practice area with covered tees, a short game area, a large chipping and putting area and a PGA golf school. There are also 3 short fairways between 75 and 130 meters in length with bunkers, hills and water hazards. The location of the golf club at 550 meters above sea level and the climatic conditions allow a sunny season from March to November. The covered tees on the driving range, which is open all year round, invite you to practice even in winter.
